Roz Shaw, Founder and Executive Recruitment

Roz is the driving force behind Spectrum People and our offering to businesses of all sizes and the teams that drive them. Through innovation and consultation with her clients, Roz has provided clear and effective sourcing, recruitment and retention guidance to her clients for over 12 years.

Roz is passionate about ensuring that not only herself, but her team and her clients are up to date with the latest in sourcing, selection and recruitment techniques and methods. By commitment to technology, team knowledge and training, broad sourcing techniques such as social media and search, as well as focusing on good old fashioned service and relationship maintenance, Roz ensures Spectrum will always have the right tools to build successful companies through creating driven teams.

Almost thirteen years after Spectrum's doors first opened, Roz's philosophy of candidate care and strategic team building has positioned Spectrum to be a leader in the Melbourne marketplace for delivery of high quality Recruitment Solutions to the financial services sector. Deb Davis, Senior Recruitment Advisor

With over 10 years recruitment experience and over 20 years financial services industry experience, Deb brings to Spectrum People a wealth of industry knowledge and local expertise. During her career, Deb has achieved success in many areas. She founded the Melbourne branch of a Financial Services Consultancy which specialised in the sector utilising her excellent understanding of the workings of many of the financial services sub–sectors, after working as both an Investment Accountant and Performance Analyst for over 20 years in the funds management arena.

Deb has successfully supplied staff to her varied client base in funds management, financial planning, custody, superannuation, insurance, stock broking and retail banking.

It is this experience which enables her to offer invaluable technical insight when sourcing candidates for her clients. Deb doesn't just "talk the talk" but is able to back up "the talk" with timely delivery of qualified, quality staff.

Deb brings to Spectrum People great depth of industry expertise and market knowledge, a warm, honest and practical approach and her unfailing commitment to partner clients and candidates in fulfilling their career aspirations and business goals.

Michael Carter, Senior Recruitment Advisor

Michael joined the Spectrum People Team in 2005 bringing over 16 years Superannuation and Insurance experience, having performed a multitude of duties across customer service, administration, team leadership, quality control and management. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the superannuation, insurance, investments and financial planning areas, gained from both his work history and tertiary studies.

His intimate knowledge of the financial services industry assists Michael to understand the particular needs of the industry. He has the ability to understand and empathise with the challenges that confront both candidates and clients in the financial services arena. Michael offers all candidates detailed, accurate and industry specific advice, whether they are looking to start out in their financial services career or to develop and move into progressive roles. He recognises the importance for organisations to attract, train and retain quality candidates and during his time at Spectrum Michael has achieved great success in providing temporary, permanent and contract recruitment solutions for Australia's leading financial services organisations.

Ruth LeMiere, Candidate Resourcer

Ruth has enjoyed a successful recruitment consultancy career in London for 8 years and then in Melbourne for 10 years as a Senior Recruitment Consultant.

Experienced in recruiting across all business sectors in Administration, Office Support and Customer Service from entry level to middle management positions, Ruth brings a wealth of local and international consulting experience to the Spectrum team.

Ruth has successfully worked in both the temporary and permanent sectors of the business and has extensive experience in running large temp desks, recruiting large scale recruitment campaigns, account management and candidate resourcing. Ruth's longstanding experience within the recruitment industry has also seen her work through a number of recessions, giving her the depth of knowledge and industry expertise to offer our clients and candidates seasoned advice and practical support.

Ruth is passionate about providing our clients and candidates a caring, pro-active service that focuses on the individual, delivering on the Spectrum People belief, that "through people, anything is possible"

Sharon Johnston, Recruitment Advisor

Sharon brings over 10 years experience within the financial services industry to the Spectrum team, concentrated mainly in the financial planning area, having worked with several of the largest Australian providers over the span of her career. She also brings over 8 years of recruitment and human resources experience to her current role as Recruitment Advisor, making her ideally placed to search, source, assess and advise in any aspect of building a team within the financial services.

Sharon's extensive knowledge of the financial planning arena makes her the perfect addition to Spectrum's current team, adding specialised insight into superannuation, investments and insurance gained from both her career history and her studies (Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning)).

Sharon is driven to lend her particular expertise to clients and candidates to create successful and lasting teams that in turn build prosperous organisations.

Josh Day, Finance Officer

Josh has enjoyed several years in payroll and accounts based roles across a variety of industries including retail, information technology and recruitment. He has always enjoyed the interactive aspects of payroll and HR functions and has a passion for seeking, creating and imparting solutions to a variety of queries as they arise. He has relished the opportunity to combine his existing knowledge and imagination to envisage potential improvements within all aspects of business and to engage and collaborate with his colleagues in order to make such improvements a reality.

Josh brings a well rounded base of experience to his role at Spectrum. He is excited about being part of a team where enthusiasm and professionalism are held in equally high regard and where all team members display this through their actions and attitudes on a daily basis. Josh thrives on this enthusiasm as it helps give him the drive to ensure that all Spectrum People procedures and processes are adhered to accurately and efficiently, and that the level of service afforded to clients and staff alike is to an impeccable standard.

Joanne Greenham, Payroll Officer

Joanne takes on the position of Payroll Officer in our Operations Team. Joanne's payroll experience spans over 10 years, with a number of years within the recruitment industry itself. Her experience in recruitment has given her a great understanding of the necessity to provide a superior, prompt and accurate payroll service to our temporary staff.

Joanne is available to take your payroll enquiries on Mondays and Tuesdays every week.
